The location is jaw-droppingly convenient, just a short tube/bus ride to the panda research centre. The cleanliness and comfort level were mind-blowing, with curtains in every bed for more privacy. The price was ridiculously low. The hostel's location and amenities, like the metro station and delicious street food, were absolutely fantastic. The chilled out vibe of the reception area, with a TV and table tennis table, was really cool. The spacious rooms, plenty of power sockets, and clean bathrooms were impressive. The breakfast and drinks were top-notch, and the staff's excellent English and organized tours were a major bonus. The wi-fi, air conditioning, and lift, if available, were also great.

The decoration of the hostel was absolutely charming, especially the beautiful garden where I could relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a cozy and comfortable environment. I was pleasantly surprised by how accessible the hostel was for senior people like me, with easy transportation options and no long walks required.
I would have appreciated if the staff members were more attentive and accommodating to the needs of senior guests.

I stayed at Hello Chengdu International Youth for a few nights with a friend. Our main goal was to visit the panda enclosures, and the location of the hostel was perfect for that. It was only a short taxi ride away and also close to the city center by metro. The dorm rooms were equipped with privacy curtains around the beds and spacious lockers. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with transportation and organizing a bus to the airport. There was even a water dispenser and access to a fridge. a pleasant stay in a well-located and well-equipped hostel.
100% Recommend this hostel.

We had the best time exploring Chengdu with the awesome day tours organized by the hostel. From seeing the adorable pandas to visiting the stunning lakes, every adventure was a blast. And when we weren't out exploring, we were having legendary table tennis tournaments in the hostel's game room. It was non-stop fun!
If there's one thing we could ask for, it would be a livelier atmosphere for young party-goers. While the hostel was great for relaxing and exploring, it didn't have a super party vibe.

The rooms at this hostel were clean and spacious, providing great value for the price. The outdoor gardens and seating areas were also a nice feature. the food at the on-site bar/restaurant was tasty and convenient.
The issue with outside noise during the night, particularly from fighting cats, which caused disrupted sleep. Another slight drawback was the large size of the hostel, making it a bit difficult to meet other solo travelers in the bustling atmosphere.

I had the pleasure of informing the property in advance that I would be using their service. The on-site restaurant served a lovely mix of local and international dishes. I also made use of the tour desk and enjoyed the complimentary wifi.
Oh, and I just loved hearing everything that was happening in the next room. Such a cozy atmosphere.
